Do children need tickets?

All concert attendees will need a ticket, regardless of age, to be able to enter the venue. 

Will tickets be available to purchase locally?

There is no box office before show day. At door time, the box office will be open for tickets if not sold out and is located to the right of the main gate.

Will tickets be available day of show?
If the show does not sell out, then tickets will be available at www.firstfleetconcerts.com and will be available to purchase with cash or credit at the door.
What does VIP include?

VIP packages are different for every show; check the ticketing link for the specific show to find out what each VIP package includes. www.firstfleetconcerts.com

Can minors be in the VIP area?

Yes! There is no age restriction for the VIP section at the Lauridsen Amphitheater, but everyone will need a VIP ticket to enter. www.firstfleetconcerts.com

Do VIP purchasers have access to other areas in the venue?

VIP purchasers will have access to all areas of the show area inside the venue. They can bring chairs, but only set up in the GA lawn area. Chairs are not allowed in the VIP section.

Are pets allowed into the concert area?
No. We love our pets, too, but please don’t bring them to the concert. However, service animals are welcome.
Can I upgrade to the VIP tickets if I have purchased general admission tickets already?

Yes, you will need to contact boxoffice@woolysdm.com to upgrade your GA tickets to VIP/reserved seating tickets if they are available.

Where are my tickets?

The easiest way to get your tickets is to find your email order confirmation or log into your ticket app account on your phone. If you have any outstanding issues, please get in touch with boxoffice@woolysdm.com or visit the ticket booth next to the main gate upon entry.

Can I get a refund?

Tickets for all shows are non-refundable.

Is parking available?

For your convenience, designated drop-off areas for Uber, Lyft, and Taxi services are available in the DMWW Administration Building Parking Lot at 2201 George Flagg Parkway. Handicap parking is also conveniently located in the parking lot closest to the venue. Parking is activated based on conditions and event size, so be sure to check the parking maps associated with each event.

For larger events, the Unity Point Health Bike Valet is at your service on the west side of the venue. Look for directional signs as you approach the park, making it easy for you to utilize this convenient service. 

Car parking fees vary based on the parking lot’s accessibility. For certain events, off-site shuttle service is offered as well. To purchase parking in advance, click here

Where is ADA parking located?

ADA accessible parking drop-off and parking are available for all events. Paved and gradually sloped paths lead to all designated seating areas. A designated ADA accessible entry into the venue and seating area, along with a dedicated space for a companion chair (bring your lawn chair), will be made available at each show, ensuring that your companion is also accommodated.

What am I allowed to bring in the venue?

If you have purchased reserved seating and have a ticket with a row and seat listed, you do not need to bring anything into the venue for seating.

With a general admission/lawn ticket, you have the freedom to bring in a lawn chair and blanket, giving you control over your comfort during the event. 

For your convenience, an empty water bottle is allowed at entry. You can easily refill it at the free water stations in the venue, courtesy of Des Moines Water Works Park.

Remember, our bag policy allows for a clear bag or a smaller bag that is 8.5 x 11″ or smaller. All bags may be subject to search upon entering the venue.

You cannot bring food or beverages into the ticketed area for concerts. Food and drinks will be available for sale inside the venue when the gates open.

What can I bring into the venue?
Lawn chairs, blankets, refillable water bottles.
What items are not allowed?
No weapons of any kind. No umbrellas or wagons. You cannot bring food or beverages into the ticketed area for concerts. However, you can bring them to free community events such as the Des Moines Symphony and Belin Quartet performances. Food and beverages will be available for sale.
What if it rains?
In case of severe weather, an alternate location will be announced.

Is my ticket in a standing room only section?
VIP is standing room only. Camping chairs are permitted in the “Lawn” area of the aarena
