The Des Moines Water Works Park Foundation Board of Directors and program committee members serve voluntarily. We could not offer programming in Water Works Park without the support of our volunteers.

Water Works Park hosts a wide range of public events, from concerts and festivals to nature walks and educational programs. Volunteers assist with setup, logistics, welcoming visitors, and ensuring everything runs smoothly. Your involvement creates a positive experience for attendees and strengthens community engagement.

In short, Volunteers are the backbone of the Des Moines Water Works Park Foundation. You enable the Park to maintain its natural beauty, host community events, and foster connections that ensure long-term success.

Help the Willis Summer Series at Lauridsen Amphitheater run smoothly. Shifts are easy, training is quick, and you’ll be part of the team that keeps everything on track. Bring a friend! It’s twice the fun. A few hours of your time make a great experience for everyone.
