The Biergarten, the Bands, the Brews & the Bikes! May – October
|
Last fall’s pop-up Des Moines Biergarten is expanding to offer local craft brews and German-style food 2-9pm Wednesday through Sunday with Local Bands, Brews and Bikes hosting free music shows on Sunday from 1-3pm. Situated in the park near trails, play areas, Gray’s Lake and more, the goal of this event is to provide free entertainment to people (and pets!) of all ages, connecting audiences to local musicians and breweries. The collaboration between DMWWPF and DMMC will feature a mix of established and emerging local bands drawing from a variety of genres – from funk to rock to blues to pop. If you’re a local musician and would like to apply to play at Local Bands, Brews and Bikes, click here. |
