Oktoberfest at the Des Moines Biergarten
Starting as a pop-up in 2022, the Des Moines Biergarten has been offering steins of German beer in a serene park setting for several seasons. Now, we’re excited to bring a new Oktoberfest experience to the heart of the city. This event, held in partnership with the Des Moines Water Works Park Foundation, is not just about beer and fun, but about community. A percentage of our revenues will be donated to support the non-profit foundation that operates Water Works Park, making every participant a part of something bigger.
The new Des Moines Oktoberfest at the Biergarten event will take place within the existing Biergarten footprint and stage area, transforming the space into a lively, three-day celebration featuring live music, expanded food and beverage options, and a full lineup of traditional games and competitions.
