Join Des Moines Ballroom and friends on August 28 from 6:00–9:00 PM for Dancing in the Park, a free community celebration filled with live music, dancing, and fun for all ages.

Enjoy live music from the Gaylin Sudik Big Band, a free dance lesson, exciting dance performances, delicious food trucks, and plenty of social dancing throughout the evening.

Bring your friends, family, and lawn chairs for an unforgettable evening of music, dance, and community. Experience the joy of dancing, connect with others, and help us celebrate the end of summer.

Des Moines Ballroom has been helping people throughout Central Iowa discover the joy of dance for over a decade through group classes, private lessons, wedding dance instruction, social events, and community outreach programs. We are excited to bring Dancing in the Park to the community and look forward to creating a fun, welcoming event where friends, families, and neighbors can come together to celebrate, connect, and make lasting summer memories.
