Improving Quality of Life
As one of America’s largest urban parks, we invite you to explore 1,500 acres of riverside woodland at Water Works Park. Hugging the Raccoon River west of Gray’s Lake in Des Moines, Iowa, Water Works Park is an outdoor oasis in the city’s heart.
The Des Moines Water Works Park Foundation improves the quality of life for Central Iowans by enhancing Water Works Park. The Foundation, formed in November 2013, integrates education, conservation, and recreation to connect visitors to clean water.
Events In The Park
Des Moines Water Works Park has become a favorite event destination in central Iowa. The Des Moines Water Works Park Foundation collaborates with a diverse range of organizations, non-profits, community events, festivals, concert promoters, musicians, artists, and many more as they seek the perfect outdoor space for their next event.
