We Invite You To Explore The Park!

As one of America’s largest urban parks, we invite you to explore 1,500 acres of riverside woodland at Water Works Park. Hugging the Raccoon River west of Gray’s Lake in Des Moines, Iowa, Water Works Park is an outdoor oasis in the city’s heart.

The Des Moines Water Works Park Foundation improves the quality of life for Central Iowans by enhancing Water Works Park. The Foundation, formed in November 2013, is a non-profit organization that integrates education, conservation, and recreation to connect visitors to clean water.
